“May you sit with discomfort like it's a dawn, not a death” KJ Ramsey
Sometimes it can feel like the only way to survive is to escape, shut down, or to run. If these are your familiar ways of operating you probably find yourself feeling increasingly disconnected from life and relationships. When you’re doing the best you know how to survive each day, making changes can feel impossible if you don’t even know where to start. How did I get here? Why can’t I make this work? The fear of what we might find if we ever slow down enough to ask those questions can keep us trapped.
Though our attempts are well meaning, the cutting-off from parts of ourselves only leads to more separation and confusion. We are meant to live in wholeness. Our body, mind, and heart need all our parts—the broken and the beautiful to live a full and meaningful life.
When we find courage to look at the darkness, we live in honesty and find healing. Let’s slow down together and create a space to become curious about the patterns and beliefs keeping you stuck and discouraged.
